Not So Good
Indoor hydroponic systems
So far not so good. I had started my plants in a separate container, when they sprouted and grew about an inch or so I move them into the system. The sponges that the plants go in before they go into the net pot did not wick the water up, so the plants’ roots that were not long enough didn’t get any water and dried out. The sponges only hold water where they are in contact. I had some 1-inch Rockwool and inserted that into the system and within 5 minutes the whole thing was wet. In my opinion, the sponges are useless. I took the 1-inch Rockwool and cut them in half, then I put them into the net pot. I seeded each net pot and we will see in a couple of days if they germinate.
